OptomCas: Optometry Centralized Application Service

About:Through this service, applicants may file one application and send it to multiple optometry programs. Through OptomCas, the schools and colleges of optometry will be able to process applications more efficiently. All 21 schools and colleges of optometry will participate. REQUIRED FOR OPTOMETRY ADMISSIONS PROCESS.

OAT: Optometry Admissions Test

About: All students applying to Optometry school must take the required Optometry Admissions Test. Thinking about taking the OAT? This helpful link can get you started in all the right ways. 

ASCO: Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry 

About: The Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO) is the academic leadership organization committed to promoting, advancing and achieving excellence in optometric education.

Optometry Students.org

About: The website hosts top notch articles, news, videos and clinical pearls which are all created by optometry student journalists from each optometry school. OptometryStudents.com allows students to become more involved in optometry and to help move the profession forward.

Personal Statement
