What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is a disease of the eye in which damage to the optic nerve may cause eyesight loss. Glaucoma is the 2nd leading cause of blindness with no way to prevent it from occuring. Although, it can be diagnosed and treated at an early stage. Glaucoma usually occurs in individuals age 60 and over, and may occur in people over 40.
